Project Description
While we provide specific project proposals, we highly value independent thinking and innovation. We are always open to supervising students with strong research ideas.
If you have a concept that aligns with our group’s focus but does not fit the pre-defined topics, we invite you to pitch it to us.
Goal
The primary goal is to turn your unique research question into a structured thesis project.
To apply for this track, you must:
- Identify a Gap: Formulate a clear research question that addresses a current challenge in AI Safety or Security.
- Draft a Proposal: Prepare a short abstract outlining your motivation, proposed methodology, and expected outcomes.
Requirements
- Strong Initiative: Ability to work independently and drive the research direction.
- Concrete Proposal: You must attach a short abstract to your application.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong coding skills (Python) and relevant background knowledge fitting your proposed topic.
- Alignment: Your topic must fall within the scope of Trustworthy ML, AI for Cybersecurity, or AI Security.
